It's 12.41 and we are in Edinburgh, our flight is 17.00. Sitting in McDonalds (free WiFi :) ) and taking turns in watching our things and running around trying to organize last few bits..pounds into Euros..checks in the bank..changing addresses and so on..and on..writing last goodbyes.
We spent the night in the Central Youth Hostel..dorm room 20 pounds each, no breakfast included and you have to pay for the Internet. But it was warm, clean and safe..and that's what you need, don't you?
Having spent last three months on an island with near to nil traffic and waking up to the singing of sea gulls, it was a rough, rough night..I had forgotten the level that traffic noise can reach..goodness sake!
Yesterday we had a seafood feast with Shannon, a girl we had a privilege to meet..because it's always interesting to meet people who are slightly out of their heads..just like us ;) It was so nice to see her catching smile again!
Thank you so much for our housemates who have been incredibly supportive and caring!
Looks like we can't upload any pictures in McDonalds but will do it as soon as we get a chance in Lisbon.
Melissa was so lucky to have a dental appointment with such a short notice in Whitecross Dental Care, who took really good care of her tooth and it was such a pleasant surprise to see their good luck wishes on our Facebook page (heels2wheels)..a huge motivation, thank You!!!!!!!!!!!
Fortunately we have a place to stay in Lisbon - we can stay with Melissa's friend..yeeeeiii! It was kinda last minute thing but hey..isn't it all kinda last minute thing!!!??
