Time is going faster than expected...doesn't it always..we are mastering professional procrastination and exploring the boundaries of brewery side effects. Alongside all that high activity, meeting interesting people from all around the world....such as:

A young woman travelling around with a yellow hat and taking pictures with You wearing The Yellow hat. ..yep.. facebook - Yeloow Hat

an artist who has dedicated his life to passing on the beauty of sacred isle of Iona .. John Yeo. http://users.breathe.com/jyeo/

And yesterday we met an amazing guy with a slight obsession ..of..labyrinths!!! Thousand thanks to him for sharing his book and story.. Thank you, Lars Howlett :)

And ... Melissa introduced Mirjam to divine Balvenie!!!! Happy days :)

celebrating power cut (read out - day off)

Power cut and other stories

Life on Iona has recently  been relatively  interesting-had an amazing yet bizarre porch party, new work mates arriving and a power cut due to stormy weather ..which of course meant another day off..and having a day off all together lead to a humble house party. And when the power went off the next day as well..we were all a bit sad for a moment - can you believe that we have got so used to working!
It's all gonna change soon!  :)
We have only ten working days left. And we are  a bit unorganized..but..oh well!! We are going to have rough time throwing away more clothes. Before coming to Iona, Melissa got rid of SEVEN pairs of jeans..she's down to two pairs now and thinking of leaving another pair behind...it's going to be painful..
We are so excited about boarding the plane and heading towards Portugal's sun!!

Last working weeks..

Exactly 18 days til our last working day..then three days to get our arses together, pack what we've got left from moving around and off we go!!  I, Mirjam, am starting to feel a little anxious about having to get all our gear  together in Lisbon because I'm just so ready to go..to take off as soon as possible but I guess I have to take it as a part of our journey already. ..and while we're in Lisbon collecting the staff - why not to look around and enjoy ourselves. Yep.
I've sent off all my tax papers..hopefully will get a few extra pennies for our budget..which is not very  impressive ;)
It has been quite busy at work, so we haven't really got any time to think or worry..or to organize ;)

Happy days - our new pannier bags arrived today. They are very plain , so they wouldn't attract any unwanted attention. Water resistant, but they have no zips. We'll see how we'll get along with them. We had to buy quite cheap ones, hopefully it was a good buy. I  guess it comes with the experience :)
